For all of my friends I have discovered a very good, freeware alternative to Microsoft Office in a product called Easy Office. It is compatible with the MS suite of tools & is the most extensive & well intergrated (better in some areas) alternative that I have found. For a modest price, you can get the "Full" suite, which consists of 2 jam packed cd's, & a lot of bells & whistles that are not included in the free version, however most users will find that the free version more than meets 99% of their needs.
